Women played a very important part to winning the war oversea. Women replaced men who use to work at factory and began to do their jobs manufacturing, ammunition, uniform, and aeroplane. Their hours at the factory was long, and for those who chose to move in the factory. They were paid more and so were the women who had skills. They were paid $2.15 a week.
There were women volunteers during the Blitz. The women volunteers provided fire fighters, who provided tea and refreshment, this did not take place during the raid. Women also joined the military, like the air force and navy. Women who stayed at a desk, intercept information from the enemies, and using this information to help gain great victory in the war.
